Waylead — lead the ride, not the chaos
Drop in a GPX and Waylead turns it into a group motorcycle ride your riders can actually follow — fuel, timing, stops, bail-outs, and a briefing everyone gets.
What it does
Waylead map-matches your route to real roads, then finds the things a group gets wrong: the navigation decisions, fuel for the group's smallest tank, timing that scales with headcount, weather and wildfire near the route, and the fastest paved bail-out from any exit.
Why leaders trust the ride
- Describe the ride you want. Tell the Route Architect where you want to ride and it drafts the route stop by stop; refine it by chatting.
- Shape it exactly right. Drag the route on the map to fix what the analysis flags — no bouncing out to another app.
- A device GPX that won't argue. Anti-recalculation shaping points keep every rider's GPS on your road.
- A backup tank you didn't plan. The backup fuel net maps off-route gas in the gaps between your stops.
- Home before dark. Headcount-aware timing warns when the ride runs past sunset.
- Nothing leaks. Riders get one link with the map, ETAs, and briefing; names, phones, and bail-outs stay behind a separate private leader link.
The leader workflow
- Start a route — upload a GPX, describe it to the Route Architect, or draw it on the map.
- Set the group — riders, the smallest tank's range, kickstands-up time.
- Place stops & bail-outs — tap the route; everything re-times instantly.
- Share — a QR + short link gives riders the map, ETAs, and a briefing PDF, with no PII.
Sign in — you're the only one who signs in; riders just open your share link. See a real ride, screen by screen.
